Amika Mobile Partners with Binary Semantics
Amika Mobile (News - Alert), a leader in real-time wireless email and Internet content analysis solutions, has signed a partnership agreement with Binary Semantics to sell Amika Mobility Server - Enterprise Edition in India.
There is growing demand for enterprise-based mobile messaging, which facilitates connectivity with mobile workers. The Amika Mobility Server gives mobile workers access to email, phone, data, applications and Internet from any SMS-enabled device.
The fully scalable software server can be customized as per the needs of the enterprise. This real-time solution runs on any enterprise hardware and features an easy to use console that simplifies administration and management for the IT security team.
As India has a huge number of mobile phone users (who use their phones primarily for SMS), the partnership between Amika and Binary Semantics is an opportunity for growth for both companies.
Akhil Choudhary, President, Binary Semantics said, "We have enterprise customers that are eagerly awaiting this product to assist them in keeping in touch with their mobile workers. About 100,000 SMS phones are sold in India each day and the ability to receive critical emails on the cell phone is vital today."
Akhil also mentioned that by enabling mobile workers to receive and respond to critical emails promptly, there is a steep rise in productivity and business performance.
"We are very excited about our partnership with Binary Semantics", said Dr. Sue Abu-Hakima, Amika Mobile's CEO.
With global operations across USA, Canada, Europe and India, Binary Semantics is a software development company offering software development, research, Web development, IT outsourcing services and consultancy services.
