Mark Horan, a vice president for Dell's Education and State and Local Government division noted that Aruba's innovative Adaptive Radio Management technology automates wireless planning, and Dell Services help simplify and lower the cost of wireless upgrades.
Tim Colby, Aruba's director of strategic partnerships said in a statement that Dell's focus on simplifying IT for customers aligns with their commitment to provide simple, reliable and secure wireless solutions.
Colby indicated that their company takes the guesswork out of network set-up, maintenance, and expansion by automatically and continuously optimizing performance.
“Add an access point, add 802.11n support, add voice and video -- and the network will adapt itself. This capability simplifies life for integrators and ensures an excellent end user experience day in and day out,” he added.
The companies explain that wireless LANs help school districts to enhance the classroom experience, address state and local technology initiatives, and improve the efficiency of district administration. In addition, there are significant cost and security benefits associated with using wireless LAN

infrastructure for voice and video surveillance applications.
